The Dog Tub has been caring for pets since 2005, prior to 2005 we could be found in the Fitchburg Agway offering grooming services..

We are thrilled to have worked with clients' pets through multiple generations.

 

The Dog Tub is a full service dog grooming salon. Lisa has been grooming dogs for over 20 years.

Lisa Burke graduated from Newbury College with a degree in Canine Science. Lisa has enjoyed 20 years of dog showing and dog breeding for Norweigan Elkhouds and Bull Terriers.

 

 

 

 

Are walk-ins welcome?

No, all appointments must be pre-scheduled. If you are need a nail trim, its advisable to call before stopping by.

What if I need to cancel?

A 24-hour cancellation notice is needed.

How can I pay?

We accept all forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, checks and cash.

Do you board pets ?

No, , we do not currently have a facility that will support boarding or doggy day care.

Do you work with elderly dogs?

Yes, we specialize in handling the needs of older dogs.

Do you accept tips?

Yes, we appreciate tipping. We consider ourselves hairdressers for your pets!

Do you groom cats?

We are not currently accepting cats for grooming. .

Weren't you located at the Fitchburg Agway?

Yes, we moved from inside the Agway store to Broad Street in 2005.

Do you sell any pet products?

In addition to our grooming and boarding facility, we now have a Doggie Pet Boutique, which offers a stylish line of apparel, toys, collars, leashes and more!
